Browne is an entrepreneur with experience in startup business in the technology sector through the dotcom boom and beyond. He has also been involved in the education sector by acquiring, transforming and running language schools and tutorial colleges. He brings his unique blend of technology and education to TutorNet

His beta version of TutorNet is about occasional learning online using popular video conferencing tools such as Skype or ooVoo. Tutors offer hour-long sessions in subjects they are used to teaching to allow you to top up your knowledge of a particular subject, problem you are having or skill you want to acquire or improve. Payment is made in advance to TutorNet through PayPal.

Currently Browne's own page indicates he is in 21 groups,  has 2 videos and 28 friends among whom are two Welsh members, three from Japan, and one each from lifestyle, sports and yachting.

The Ning network doesn't have any Apps yet. Ha! room for a tutor there!
