ForArgyll reports that wildlife cameraman and film maker, Gordon Buchanan is urging Scots to cast their votes to help Scotland’s only finalist farm to a win and the first ever Scottish winner of the award.
It is a desperately close run race, with two of the four finalists neck and neck with just 13 votes between them at the last count.
Buchan says "I grew up on Mull and know how important farming and wildlife is to the island.
"At Treshnish Farm they do so much for wildlife and it really does deserve to win the UK Nature of Farming Award 2011. If anyone in Scotland hasn’t voted for them yet, you’ve still got time! Go on, it only takes a minute. Do it for Scotland!”
Gaberlunzie accordingly voted here and you can Vote Treshnish on the ForArgyll site too.
