Virtual snow and season's greeting

Monday 19th December 2011
Courtesy Google.

Gaberlunzie was fossicking around for things to amuse hard working technologists, wising them the best over the festivities and the happiest leap into 2012 yet looking for some small doodling plaything for your stockings.

You are bound to have run into Google playing snowman, though it's not to be known how long Google will indulge one in such delights, like its wonderful Doodle Guitar, which happily does have a permanent  home.

Google plays snowman, by responding to 'Let it snow" typed into your Google search box, whereupon it slowly snows to freeze out your page. Help is at hand however with the defreeze button .

Let it snow on your current page.
With this content script, all the page will show falling snow flakes. Thanks also due to Scott Schiller for his snowstorm code.  And that page will also give you everything you ever wanted (or didn't) about nostalgic decks and turntables.
