
Global Crossing's newly-constructed center provides virtual hosting solutions and hosted managed services for European customers. Services allow clients to manage IT projects while reducing costs associated with physical servers, such as power, space and cooling and will also include monitoring, backup, security, server management and storage solutions.
“The opening of the Amsterdam data center means we now have 17 data centers strategically located to provide services to more than 700 customers at a time when information has never been more critical to the survival of a business,” says Ted Higase, (right) Global Crossing’s MD, of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Dyadem of Toronto, is software and services provider relating to operational and quality risk management initiatives. Its Amsterdam office adds to its portfolio in Paris, London, and Houston, and will support the company’s growing European customer base, being managed by Arie Kievit, who will lead business development in the Netherlands and Northern Europe.
Dyadem’s web-based software platform is designed to centralise and integrate companies’ risk management needs, and assist in compliance with various industry regulations and standards.
The software is used by companies in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, medical, automotive, electronics, and aerospace and defense.
