While the IT community in Aberdeen considers cloud services, Aberdeen Pressure Washer Centre, a division of Turriff AgriParts (TAP) Ltd has been awarded a £250,000 contract to supply Kärcher spares to a major oil company in Azerbaijan or Gorgia

It took part in an international tender process to win the one-year deal which has an option to roll out for a further two years. TAP Ltd with a team of 15 people, stocks more than 12,000 product lines which incorporates Aberdeen Pressure Washer Centre and operates from Duff Street in Turriff and Inverurie’s Thainstone Centre.

The company with markets including Europe, Nigeria, Algeria, Tunisia, Bangladesh, North & Central Africa and USA, is headed by former farmer and agricultural contractor, George Mearns and celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.

TAP has been supplying a client in Azerbaijan with Kärcher cleaning equipment and spare parts for the past year and won the contract by demonstrating their ability in product knowledge and meeting delivery deadlines.

Kärcher, a privately owned company, is the world’s largest pressure cleaning equipment company with annual sales of €1.4m billion and Aberdeen Pressure Washer Centre is the manufacturer’s only premier dealer in the North of Scotland.

We are extremely pleased to be awarded this significant contract which maintains our relationship with a valued client in Azerbaijan and Georgia and demonstrates our continued commitment to Kärcher,” said sales and marketing director, Eileen Brown.
