Scotland gets six more broadband exchanges

Scotland gets six of BT's additional 66 country wide fibre broadband exchange locations included in its £2.5bn superfast broadband rollout. The 66 exchanges serve nearly one million homes and businesses.

The new Scottish sites are to be Inverkeithing, Aberdeen  Ashgrove and Denburn, Nairn, Cumbernauld and Glasgow Scotstoun.

Existing named Scottish sites are Corstorphine and Craiglockhart Edinburgh exchanges, those of Glasgow Bridgeton, Giffnock and Newton Mearns, Bothwell, Dalgety Bay, Dunfermline, Livingston Station, and Penicuik.
