You simply have to go HERE to reach the latest Scottish Development International (SDI) campaign for ICT and Electronics Technologies. Clearly the aim is to attract lots of people to subscribe. You'd wonder they never try to encourage their local clypers with such campaigns.
But, hey, the cobbler's bairns are aye ill shod!
Gaberlunzie can't help wondering if the DOTScot campaign mightn't do rather better in getting global Scot sign-ups with the discrete offer at a chance of winning a splended single malt?
Mark you KILTR and its adherents have used the single malt as a very fine lure in its bid to increase numbers. Only problem now being that Gaberlunzie, who refuses to use his Facebook password to sign in to KILTR, is now barred from answering all the emails he gets from them about groups and comments and single malts.
KILTR won't accept his password and it won't let him sign up again, as the user name and email address are already taken. Impasse, and how to loose visitors. But at least Gaberlunzie is getting some work done.
He's in two minds about chucking in the whole of the social sites, with the exception of the 'newgen' really interesting ones, and perhaps Twitter, because of its brevity. But again, perhaps not, as even that insists on knowing your Facebook password before it will allow you access.
