Bat's dead from whitenose syndrome

The USA National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) is being terminated A new database, the National Invasive Species Information Center (NISIC), has been added. If you wish to receive NISIC Alerts access your Alerts account and add it to your selected Alerts source

The U.S. Geological Survey values very highly our partnerships cultivated over the past several years through the NBII.  We hope we can continue to collaborate even in this difficult time to advance our shared vision of making biological data widely available and to preserve as much of our past investment as possible.

NISIC  or the National Invasive Species Information Centre carries as its main story the ominous Northa American bat death toll exceeds 5.5m from white-nose syndrome.
