The Aberdeen-based information technology specialist, Indigo Technologies, has secured new contract wins estimated to be worth in excess of £100k from companies in the shipping, finance and oil and gas sectors.

New business includes a significant three year contract with Thomas Gunn Navigation Services Ltd, a company that specialises in the supply of navigational products and associated services to the shipping industry worldwide. The contract will see Indigo provide licensing and hardware consultancy services worth around £40k.

The IT company has won a further two contracts with Epeus Limited (project adviisors & specialists) and Rushmore Reviews (benchmark drilling data bank specialists) worth a further £67k.

Last financial year Indigo achieved a 20% growth in annual turnover, reporting £550,000 revenues for the period to March 2010. Having secured more than £153k (including the above contracts) worth of business since March 2010, Indigo is now on target to exceed projected annual turnover.

Indigo was recently announced as among finalists in the Excellence in Customer Service and the Commitment to People Development categories of the Northern Star Business Awards, winners be announced in September.
