Innovation, Technology and Leadership (ITL) are the themes for The Institute of Directors Scotland chairman and speaker Raymond O’Hare, at this Thursday IoD Aberdeen lunch.

The former director of Microsoft in Scotland, and now an innovative consultant  in his own right, with a website, O’Hare (right)  will tell members that to remain competitive in a difficult marketplace, business leaders must innovate, appreciate the potential of technology and provide effective leadership.

Among the technology subjects he will explore is the current growth in social media and how businesses can turn these new communication opportunities to corporate benefit, which involves clever marketing.

Commenting on the lunch, Ken McEwen, (left), IoD Aberdeen chairman, said: “Raymond is an experienced leader and business manager with more than 30 years business, sales and management experience across a range of industries, including finance, public sector, utilities, aerospace and manufacturing.

“Among the technology subjects he will explore is the current growth in social media and how businesses can turn these new communication opportunities to corporate benefit.”

The IoD Networking lunch with Raymond O'Hare is at the Royal Northern and University Club, 11 Albyn Place, Aberdeen on Thursday (March 11) at 12.15 for 12.30pm. Bookings.
