Introduction to NAG numerical software

NAG and GAMBITare staging a free seminar describing the use and functionality of NAG numerical libraries focused on mathematical and statistical libraries. The seminar will be useful for anyone wanting to write mathematical and statistical applications, with particular emphasis on optimisation, but also covering other areas such as curve and surface fitting and random number generation. It will appeal to individuals wanting to acquire a more in-depth understanding of NAG's numerical libraries.

MATLAB will be used for the demonstrations, but other application software packages (such as Maple, LabView, Excel, R, S-Plus, C# / .NET) can also be integrated with the NAG Numerical Software as well as more traditional programming languages like Fortran, C, C++, C#, Java. NAG staff will be happy to field questions about these areas at the end of the seminar or direct.
