Those in Scotland interested in first class investigative journalism, one to watch is Ian Fraser. For those who want to more about the HBOS / Quayside scandal, which so far the UK authorities have failed to adequately investigate, the latest is on Fraser's Blog. It follows on from a File on 4 documentary which he helped to make, that was broadcast on Radio 4 on 26 May, and a debate held in the Houses of Parliament on 2 June.
Fraser decided to put this on his blog because, for the time being at least, it is virtually impossible to get an overview piece like this published in mainstream media (being so financially weakened at the moment they are easily cowed by
sabre-rattling from the legal fraternity).Ian Fraser
