30/05/2011 - 01/06/2011
La Maison de La Chimie, 28 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris.
The Paris Workshops on Genomic Epidemiology are held every two years to introduce researchers to new methodologies that underpin large-scale genomic studies of diseases and other applications in the life sciences, particularly in the context of on-going research funded by the EU. The last two years have witnessed the emergence of powerful new sequencing methodologies with vast consequences for systems approaches in biology. The inclusion of these into epidemiological scale studies allows the rapid identification of biological markers underlying many diseases
