Absent editor's and Gaberlunzie let loose among the email releases has resulted in an excellently lazy morning playing around with Google's revamped images and Wolfram Alpha Widgets.

Boy, thanks Research Buzz  I still don't 'get' Wolfram and my search attempts fall flat on their faces, but I must admit the Widgets are an enormous playground.

Torn between the delights of allocating musical intervals and being able to see them written and hearing them play with the tone distances given, Gaberlunzie wandered off onto Satellites over where you live by Brad Janes.

And just imagine, the satellites are all looking down on Google's images of Scottish Islands  Searches are faster, less liable to inaccurate naming.

It's  still hard to work out what the justification the site uses to recall images of people with the first name of say Alex appearing on a request for a very definite Alex & surname, when no surname picture appears. Awful time waster that. But to be fair wasn't using the Advance Image Search  and it is a really prodigiously fine graphic search facility now.
