A major Netherland IT security specialist is to distribute Bloxx products in the Benelux region as the Livingston based company appoints a new CTO for growth.

Bloxx, with a fairly quiet profile (compared to its cheerful shared name game Tower Bloxx ) for web and email filtering software has this month signed an agreement with Holland's e92plus IT security distributor to recruit security resellers in the Belgium Netherlands and Luxembourg to market and sell Bloxx Web and email filtering products, as well as providing technical support, installation services, sales training, and pre- and postsales consultancy.

The agreement builds on Bloxx’s established customer base in the Netherlands and expands the availability of Bloxx products in the region.

Hans Maatkamp, Business Development director at e92plus said: “The unique technology provided by Bloxx that delivers dynamic filtering of Dutch language Web pages is a significant differentiator in the security market, which appeals to resellers and delivers substantial end user benefits."

“We firmly believe  e92plus has the market knowledge, resources and security experience to help us expand further in the region, build a reseller network and increase sales,” adds Eamonn Doyle, CEO at Bloxx.

The company is also reported  to have just recruited Graham Twaddle as its CTO to expand the Bloxx Livingston-based R&D activity.

Twaddle, a business process modelling and IT consultant has worked previously with Glasgow-based Corporate Modelling and Xena Health.
