The Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour (AISB )convention is an annual event organised as a number of collocated symposia loosely organised around a theme, and interspersed with invited plenary talks and poster sessions. The theme for the 2008 convention is "Communication, Interaction and Social Intelligence".

Under the theme 'Communication, interaction and social intelligence', delegates from across Europe and the Americas will discuss the role of virtual creatures in a computerised society; brain signals being used to improve computer interfaces; computer games and forensic analysis of text.
The AISB 2008 Convention targets computer science policy-makers, scientists, engineers, and technologists with the aim of addressing the challenges for the future in this area.
